New Moon in New Zealand!

Why am I so pumped and excited? Well I just found out that New Zealand will be the first country in the would to see New Moon when it is finally released!!

Well, ahead of the DVD release in April, TV2 Movies has some good news for you.
A release date's been set for New Moon in New Zealand.
So, Twihards, mark this date in your calendar.

November the 19th, 2009.

Because that's when Bella, Edward, Jacob and the gang will be back on the big screen.
America has a release date of November the 20th, 2009 - so with the time difference you'll get to see it before the American market.

Who would of ever guessed that being a twilight fan in New Zealand would pay off?!?!!?! Over here anything twilight related normally takes about a month to get here or it doesn't come at all! So I cant believe that we get to see New Moon first!!!

As Summit Entertainment looks to lock in a director for the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse, the company is talking to a select group of directors -- including actress-turned-helmer Drew Barrymore, EW has learned. While this news may come as a surprise to some, Barrymore did just finish work on her directorial debut, Whip It! starring Ellen Page. Neither Summit nor Barrymore's reps would comment for this story

Now dont get me wrong, I love Drew Barrymore but I dont think she would be the best choice for Eclipse director.

I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. At the moment I'm so excited about New Moon I can hardly think about anything else!

YAY! Justin Chon has confirmed with MTV that he is indeed working on New Moon!

When most people first saw that Justin was playing Eric they were really confused because he wasn't what they originally thought Eric would be(Where are the dam pimples!!!!) but the more they watched twilight the more they thought he suited the role. So when I bet when those people heard a month or so ago he had never been contacted about New moon I bet they were almost freaking out (I know I was). But hes in so You're lucky, he's lucky, I'm lucky, we're all lucky! (I love Magenta!)

I have a little confession to make. I love the kids choice awards... I dont like all the screaming and squealing (although I really cant talk, I do the same thing when it comes to twilight) but there is just somthing about the whole thing that is so appealing to me. So imagine my joy when I read this on people.com:

YAY!! Finally somthing about Stephenie Meyer!

This months feature story for Vogue magazine is about Stephenie Meyer!


The stories really long so if you want to read it all I warn you it might take you longer than you think.

But here's little hint of it:

"I had always told myself stories my whole life and assumed that everyone does," Meyer says. "You know, it's funny; in Jane Eyre, which is something I've read 40 million times, there's this scene where she shows Rochester her paintings. And she explains that in her head it was so different. And Rochester replies that she captured just a wisp of what she was seeing. I used to paint, and I won a few watercolor contests, but I could never get it to look exactly like it did in my head. But with writing, I discovered I could get it to look exactly like it did in my head."

Which is why Twilight, especially, as well as its sequels, is not a horror book but a good old-fashioned romance. There are vampires, and they are wicked quick and excel in killing animals in the woods, which assuages somewhat their hunger for teenage humans. But that's mostly offstage. Twilight takes place in a teenage fermata, an emotional arena that is, for many young girls, simultaneously imaginary and absolutely real. And the boy, by the way, is completely intoxicated with the girl. The courtship is everything, a prolonged ecstasy, because once consummated, the relationship will change, like, totally.

She also mentions somthing about Midnight sun:

A more interesting and controversial story is the fifth book in the Twilight saga, a version of the first book told from Edward's perspective. It was leaked last year by a source still unidentified onto the Internet, all but about six pages. It was a huge blow. "Now I'm over it," she says, "but I feel really distanced from the project. It was oddly devastating." Although she is currently taking a break, she may continue the Twilight story, but she seems wary of books in series. "I'm experiencing, I think, a little bit of stage fright at this point."

Wow. I have never really been a fan of Kristen Stewart, she always seemed like a bit of a bitch to me and somthing I just read today confirmed my thoughts.

Accesshollywood posted this after the Oscars explaining why Kristen didn't present a Oscar with Robert Pattinson:

Access' Billy Bush got the answer on the red carpet, when he asked Kristen's father, John Stewart, why she wasn't presenting with Robert Pattinson .

John responded that Kristen would present at the Oscars, "When it's a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money."

Um Kristen do you realise that even though twilight may not be what you call a 'good movie' it got you recognized. Do you really think that anyone would know your name if it wasn't for twilight? She must she is so much better than everyone else.

The two totally flirted it up outside on the patio, and Rob started to feel right at home in his newly found Hollywood lifestyle.

N.P. was batting those beautiful eyelashes at Pattinson, and he seemed to be enjoying every minute of it. And there were a lot of minutes. I think Ms. P's used to getting what she wants, as she dominated R.P.'s attentions most of the evening.

But fear not, ladies (and gents, too), it looks like Robalie's just in the crush stage 'cause Mr. P was seen leaving sans Portman at the end of the night.

Damn, would they have hot kids or what?

Yes. Yes I believe they would E!... She one lucky lady. And hes one lucky man! Lets just hope out of all the Spunk-lovers-rumors this one is the real one (You will see why soon...)

Sorry again that I haven't posted in so long! You wont believe how busy I have been. but on with the stuff you really want to hear (sorry if you have already heard it all)


I just read this on twilightcrack, its a interview with Solomon Trimble from a few weeks back:

Assuming you will continue to play Sam, what scenes would you look forward to filming in New Moon?

I want to shoot a flash back scene to when Sam first phased. I think I would have fun with it. If there isn’t a flash back, I think any scene where the whole wolf pack is together would be interesting to shoot. I wonder how all of us are going to pick up each other’s mannerism so we all move as one.

How do you feel about possibly becoming a bigger player in the coming movies than in Twilight?

I’m ready. I’ve been working out for 2 hours a day every day for so long now, and eating an ungodly amount of chicken and drinking horrible weight gainer. I’ve been learning and writing powwow songs in Quileute and re-reading the books and working with an acting coach, just submersing myself in this. I’m probably too focused, I don’t know the last time I watched T.V. or did anything non-Twilight related. I use poetry as an outlet, but even it has a Twilight flavor as of late.

I know your pain Solomon! Now matter what you do, some how twilight starts to take over your life.

New Moon is just New Moon

Great new everyone! You should of all seen the official artwork for New Moon by now, and were all probably wondering "Why is it The Twilight Saga's New Moon?" Well E! has released this:

And despite earlier reports that the movie would be known as The Twilight Saga's New Moon, the title will remain New Moon according to the movie's rep. They just have Twilight Saga in the artwork to identify it for anyone less devoted than your average fanggirl. But there is a distinguishing difference in this title sequence, which will be in orange rather than the blue of the original.

We all know how much celebrities like to celebrate their birthdays, and last night Ashley Greene got a jumpstart on her 22nd birthday festivities in Sin City.

June 30, 2010 Eclipse!!!

Yay! Eclipse has a date set! Its ages away, but still really fast in the 'film' world. This is according to deadlinehollywooddaily:

I've confirmed there's no director hired yet. And the two productions won't be back-to-back. But that hasn't stopped Summit Entertainment from newly scheduling its Twilight threequel for release on June 30, 2010, not long after its Twilight sequel New Moon set for November 20th this year now being helmed by Chris Weitz. Summit also officially changed the name of its vampire movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling series of novels to The Twilight Saga. Here's how Summit descibes the plot of the threequel Eclipse:

"As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death."

Regarding The Twilight Saga, my sources tell me that director Catherine Hardwick's claim in her diary that she didn't want to helm New Moon isn't accurate because Summit decided not to hire her for New Moon. And I've also learned that Summit only had a deal with Stephenie Meyer for the first book, Twilight. So the start-up film studio had to make individual deals for the other books in Meyer's series, including the new 4th novel Breaking Dawn -- and the author got top-dollar, trust me. To date, Summit's low-cost blockbuster Twilight has earned $363 million in worldwide grosses -- almost evenly divided between domestic and international -- since its release on November 21st, 2008

What the heck does "Summit only had a deal with Stephenie Meyer for the first book, Twilight" mean?!

I just hope, with the speed they are going though the films, they make sure the movies are the best they could possibly be. I really dont feeling like watching another 'running' scene if it looks like the Twilight one. Big budget better graphics?
