Kellan talks about New Moon

Kellan Lutz has just recently had a interview with MTV where he talks about all sorts of things!

"I'm really excited for 'New Moon,' " grinned the 23-year-old star, stopping by MTV's offices Wednesday to promote the "Twilight" DVD hitting stores March 21. "I go on Sunday the 8th to rehearse and do our screen tests and make sure the contacts fit — which I'm not looking forward to. But we do rehearsals for about a week, and then I go up in April and we start shooting."

"The most interesting revelation of our interview, however, might have been for Lutz rather than us. When we asked him about Summit Entertainment's announcement two weeks ago of the release date for "Eclipse," the actor was genuinely surprised to hear the news that he'd be immersed in Emmett until at least mid-2010.

"That's the first time I've heard that!" he marveled. "I'm the last to know anything. It's been funny doing these conventions that a bunch of us castmembers have been doing, to a bunch of states and countries. The fans know more of what's going on with our jobs than I do!"

Twilight game...

You’ve seen the movie twenty times. You scream at the mere mention of RPattz. You collect the t-shirts, jewelry and figures. But how well do you really know “Twilight”?

Soon you’ll be able to prove your knowledge of all things Edward and Bella, as the “Twilight” board game hits store shelves the week of March 15. Based on trivia and a small bit of chance, users traverse the board going from scene to scene until they wind up at the prom. Take a look below for an inside glimpse at what’s in store.

Cool a twilight game... But its just a really big shame that it doesnt sound that fun. Sorry but it doesnt. What do you guys think?

New Moon!!!

*Squeal*

New Moon excitement!

From the MTV Movie blog:

The director has been chosen. The Jacob controversy is behind us. And the new cast is coming together. Now all that’s left is to make a movie, right? Well, not so fast. Before a single frame of “New Moon” is shot, MTV is thrilled to present an exclusive piece of imagery from the film you all can’t wait to sink your teeth into come November.

So at 10PM EST tonight, come right back here to the MTV Movies Blog for your first look! And by way the there’s more than just an image you can look forward to. There’s some interesting news in what we’re debuting too. Trust us. You’ll see.

When I can get my little paws on the video, I will post it. I really want to see this!

No MCR in NM

Sorry My Chemical Romance fans, they wont be in the New Moon soundtrack. In a recent interview with MTV they stated that there songs wouldn't 'fit' with the New Moon/Vampire thing...

"So, after knocking it out of the park with “Desolation Row,” [from Watchmen] are My Chem looking at a second career (after, you know, being in a rock band) scoring films? Given their former, rather vampirish past, they seem naturals for “Twilight” sequel “New Moon.”

“I don’t think so,” Way said. “We’re very choosy. … There were a few films that we didn’t do the song for because it didn’t fit. I guess a lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit, but I would disagree with that these days. Even since Black Parade, I would kind of disagree with that. I don’t know if we’d be interested in that.”"

Meh, fair enough. But I would of loved to hear one of their songs in New Moon.

Jacob and Laurent on a date!

Aww how cute! Edi Gathegi (The guy who plays Laurent) and Taylor Lautner have been going on a few 'dates' and Edi is even going to meet the parents!

What am I talking about? Well Edi Gathegi has just done an interview with MTV, in which he says quite a bit about all things Twilight and becoming workout buds with Taylor Lautner!

"Taylor and I are going to his parents' place for dinner tonight — and then go to the gym," he said, adding that the duo were getting together to celebrate Lautner's recent re-signing as Jacob Black. "We're going to celebrate tonight. ... You should see this kid! He's jacked. He's taking it seriously.

"We've worked out in every city on our tour," Edi said of his 16-year-old spotter. "If you see him, you'll know immediately. This kid is so strong right now, it is unreal. He has achieved with his body what people with steroids cannot achieve. The only way I can describe it is that God has given him this time for this growth spurt and this body right now."

As for the rest of Laurent's "New Moon" arc, Gathegi said he's looking forward to "being fully bad. Not just halfway bad. I like the transition from being conscious and compassionate, to ['New Moon' when Laurent realizes] that's too difficult. I've got to be a vampire."

He also mentions about Sophia Myles possibly playing Irina in the movie!

<-- Irina?

Laura Culpepper = Lucky!

Laura Culpepper is a dam lucky girl! She won a MTV Movie Awards Blogger contest. And in the prize she got to have and interview with the fine Robert Pattinson. That was a while ago and now becasue of the she has become an MTV News intern, and has so many opportunity to meet, greet and talk about all the famous people.

You can go here to see the a longer version of the interview she first had with Spunk when she won the Competition, and read what she thinks about RPattz.

^^She got to hug him!^^

Even though it doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing much but Edward Cullen for a while, I believe he is going to have great success as an actor once “Twilight” is over. In reality, Rob is nothing like Edward Cullen. Anyone who has met him or seen him in an interview knows that he is really just a big ball of goofiness and sarcasm. He’s nice to everyone and still doesn’t understand why people like him so much. That’s exactly why I think he is so talented. To be able to change yourself into a completely different mind-set takes a very special person, and Rob is definitely one of those people.

Personally, my fangirl self would love to see him in a true “bad guy” role. I think he has real potential to be believably scary and yet endearing at the same time (think Spike from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”). On the flip side, he would rock as a nerd.
