Great news Stephenie Meyer was named the biggest selling writer in the USA for 2008! In '08 she sold a huge 15 million books! (Data from Nielsen BookScan US for the year ended 28th December 2008.)
SM has nabbed the top two spots on the chart. With Breaking Dawn getting the number 1 sport and Twilight coming in at a very close second, even though it was published two years ago! Which is just proof of how good the book is. New Moon was fifth and Eclipse was sixth (I think it should of been the other way around, Eclipse is a much better book in my opinion)
In total SM had five books in the USA top 50 chart, which is really impressive seeing as though she has 9 entries in total (Over half!) This meant the SM was racking it up, with close to 15 million from the top 50 bestseller chart alone!
