Twi-hard... word of the year?

"According to Canada.com, leading etymologists, grammarians and armchair language-lovers across Canada and the U.S. have been submitting nominations for the American Dialect Society's 19th annual Word of the Year competition, and Twi-hard is one of the nominees!

Among Barrett's nominations are Twi-hard (rhymes with "die hard" and describes a fan of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling Twilight book series), words inspired by the micro-writing website Twitter (Tweet, Twitt, etc.) and frugalista (a person who is frugal but fashionable).

Other front-runners for Word of the Year include "change," "bailout," maverick," "vetting" and various combining forms of "Obama" (Obamanation, Obamamania, etc.)"

So twilight fans we could all be classed as the word of the year! How cool would that be?!? Im so excited to find out if it wins or not. I will try and keep you updated! (Yes I made the twi-hard picture)
