New Moon Photos

I know I haven't been doing very many 'serious' posts lately but I couldn't resist this one. These are some pictures from the set of new moon!

This first one is a 'behind-the-scenes' look at what Im guessing is the party (Second best part of the book!)
Edward and Bella going in for the kiss... I dont know if Rob is meant to have that face on or its just unfortunate timing. Becasue it looks like hes keen for the kiss but Kirsten has bad breath so hes a bit hesitant...
Bella and Laurent! Laurent's makeup makes him look like a perfect vampire.

No Weitz after NM!

According to EW Summit Entertainment will keep the 'twilight' director tradition alive. Chris Weitz will not be directing Eclipse:

Chris Weitz will not direct the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse, a source close to the production tells EW.com exclusively. Because New Moon, which Weitz is helming, and Eclipse are due to be released so close together (on Nov. 20, 2009, and June 30, 2010, respectively), Weitz will be in post-production on New Moon at the same time that Eclipse will be shooting. That said, the source confirms a report that the movies will not be shot simultaneously or back-to-back; there will be a brief gap between the production of both films.

I cant decide wether that's a good thing or not, but we will surly find out when New Moon is released (getting closer!!!)

I wonder who the next director will be? I'm kind of hoping for Peter Jackson (Kiwi pride!) But Im pretty positive he wouldn't want to direct a teenage vampire drama...

A small interview with Dr Carlisle Cullen ;)

Pop-eater has recently posted an interview which they had with Peter Facinelli Aka The incredibly sexy Dr Carlisle Cullen. In the interview he talks about stuff like the Dakota fanning as Jane situation, Catherine Hardwicke and New Moon:

Even though actor Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in 'Twilight,' admits he hasn't been keeping up with all the 'New Moon' rumors, he is excited to hear that Dakota Fanning might be joining the cast as vampire Jane. "She is a phenomenal actress... [The role of Jane] would be great for her," Facinelli exclusively told PopEater.

Facinelli says he is excited to start working on 'New Moon,' which is expected to start shooting in March. Even though he hasn't seen the final script, there is one scene he's excited about. "There is a scene where Dr. Cullen stitches up Bella's hand, and there is a really nice conversation... I think it's important to the book," he said.

Despite controversy about the 'Twilight' franchise switching directors from Catherine Hardwicke to Chris Weitz for 'New Moon,' Facinelli said there was no foul play.

"Well, she wasn't locked on to do the second one, so it wasn't like she got kicked off," he said. "I was bummed, only in the fact that I enjoyed her passion... But look at 'Harry Potter.' All those movies have different directors."

"As bummed as I am not to work with [Hardwicke], there is an excitement to work with a new director. Weitz is very passionate about the new movie... he is going to do a great job," Facinelli said.

You can read the rest of the interview here and I think there is even a short video to go with it.

Kristen interview with MTV

Once again MTV has had an interview with Kristen Stewart. She talks about New Moon, Chris Weitz, the Jacob drama and of course Rob! You can read the full article/interview here.

"I'm really excited," she beamed, happily offering some of her first public comments about the big-budget "Twilight" sequel since a number of controversies have simmered, boiled and then been resolved over the past few weeks.

Regardless of her excitement, however, the always-frank Stewart admitted that the film's fast turnaround, higher visibility and directorial change still needs to serve as a caution to the "Twilight" crew. "It's such a machine now. All of a sudden, this movie has become [something bigger]," she explained. "With all the expectations — usually, you make a movie and think, 'If it touches people, great; if it doesn't, then you move on to the next one, and no one's personally affected by it.' [But] everyone's really sensitive with any changes right now.

"Everyone needs to be on the same page to make the same movie [as the original 'Twilight' was]," she said of the upcoming "New Moon" shoot. "Or else it will be a very disoriented project."
Now that Taylor Lautner has been re-cast in the role, however, she's convinced that they can make it work.

"Yeah, absolutely," Stewart said. "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else; we already had him! I didn't understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it's set, we can all rest.

"He's really buff!" she exclaimed of Lautner, who's packed on nearly 30 pounds of muscle so far to prepare for Jacob's werewolf growth spurt. "He definitely is. It took him a lot of time."
"I think he's OK," KStew said of RPattz. "He's back in London now, which makes it easier for him. It's funny. It only affects you when you come to something like [Sundance]. And then, other than that, he's totally the same guy he always was."
I think she has the 'right' views on most issues concerning Twilight and New Moon. I cant wait for the movie!
