"[Portman] seemed really into him, and went right up to say hello once she spotted him," dished a close Pattinson chum at the exclusive do.

So what was the Twilight star and Oscar presenter all jittery about, then? Well...

Before his encounter, Rob told us how anxious he was about presenting. "I was so nervous [about the Oscars]" the cute Brit told us, sexy accent 'n' all.

So how did the guy take the edge off?

"Whiskey and Natalie Portman," dished the R.P. pal.

Robert, who flew solo, shy and rather lonely most of the glittering night, found a fan in the gorgeous Nat. Ms. P, who also had a little whatever with Ryan Gosling recently, was pretty and piranha-like in fuchsia.

The two totally flirted it up outside on the patio, and Rob started to feel right at home in his newly found Hollywood lifestyle.

N.P. was batting those beautiful eyelashes at Pattinson, and he seemed to be enjoying every minute of it. And there were a lot of minutes. I think Ms. P's used to getting what she wants, as she dominated R.P.'s attentions most of the evening.

But fear not, ladies (and gents, too), it looks like Robalie's just in the crush stage 'cause Mr. P was seen leaving sans Portman at the end of the night.

Damn, would they have hot kids or what?

Yes. Yes I believe they would E!... She one lucky lady. And hes one lucky man! Lets just hope out of all the Spunk-lovers-rumors this one is the real one (You will see why soon...)

Some disturbing news about Robert Pattinson has been posted on TheImproper.com Website. It turns out that Spunk like to draw pictures and write suicide notes to get 'into' the role of Edward... Uh when in the books did it say Edward wrote Suicide notes in his free time?

"If you really prepare for a role, there’s going to be a moment in which he’s all you can think of," Rob, 22, recounts. "So I did things like [write] little suicide notes. I was a little worrisome, actually (laughs)."

What triggered this morbidity in the usually-cheery Brit was when he started keeping a journal as Edward in the weeks before shooting began on Twilight. Understanding the vampire's morose mindset was key to fully inhabiting the role.

"I hadn’t realized how difficult it was going to be to play Edward until I started reading the script," says Pattinson. "He’s a very complex character, so I moved to Portland (Oregon) by myself two or three months before filming began and didn’t do anything but read the script and books to find anything that helped me play him. Then I started to write things."

Aceshowbiz.com has just released an article about Robert Pattinson and his views on 'love' and woman. In the interview Robert says what he looks for in a woman. You can read the full article here

When it comes to treating girl properly, Robert Pattinson thinks he is a gentleman. Providing an evidence to that, he says, "I don't tell [a girl] how she has to be for me. I don't want her to change herself for me.

" Talking about girls of his dream, Pattinson reveals he likes "talented girls." He admits, "If she's really talented, I don't really care about the other things." Also he frankly claims that he "would rather go out with girls than with guys", while jokingly adding, "but if I tried to hit on every girl around me, then I would lose those friendships."

In line with girls, Pattinson confesses he believes in love at first sight, about which he gushes, "It's absolutely possible that you can meet someone on the street and suddenly fall in love with that person. That often happens to me."

So are you Spunks dream woman? I just need to get a few 'talents' and I think I would be perfect for that English love muffin... Yes I just called him a love muffin.

He is coming back!

RPAttz is finally coming out of the closet! No not the homosexual closet, Pretty positive hes all about the ladies. But hes coming out from what ever closet he has been hiding in for the past month. Perez Hilton recently posted a picture that a fan managed to snap of Robert Pattinson at a bar in London, and just today another girl has found Rob out and about again! you can read the short article here.

"This time he was spotted again at a SoHo pub in London for open mic night.

We're told Pattinson was there with some friends and performed two songs which apparently "silenced the room" with how good he was."

Which is very awesome! We fan girls (and some boys as I learnt today) have missed our Spunk Ransom. And we are so glad hes coming back!

Its a terrible day for us fan girls of twilight who are not fans of Miley Cyrus :( She doesn't deserve to speak his name! OK now that a little over top...

Well apparently they say that Robert is a 'favourite breakout star of 2008'. Which is good but just because that fact it was those two who said it...

Rob might of actually read Twilight!

Turns out that Robert Pattinson might of actually read twilight after all, shock horror! this is becasue in a recent interview with Colombia's Tu magazine he said that the message behind twilight is that love does indeed conquer all.

"It's a love story that shows that nothing is impossible," Spunk said "If you really love someone, you can overcome any obstacle."

We all know the drama of missing RPattz, this is because he is a hot (Almost smoking) commodity these days mainly thanks to twilight's major success at the box office. So far Twilight has raked in an amazing $282 million worldwide since it opened in November 21 in the USA.

But still no matter how hotter commodity Rob is he hasn't been seen since December 22, when he was going to London to spend Christmas at home with his family. this was after Rob made headlines when he cut the trademark tousled, sexy hair. Why he did it? "That’s why I wanted to get a new haircut: When someone says that something is a trademark, you better get rid of it," well fair enough Rob but WHY?! At least we can sleep in peace knowing that hair does grow back.
