Cameron Bright (Alec) Interview

^^Awww^^

Cameron Bright (Alec) is awesome. What does that have to do with anything you ask, well I have no idea. I have just decided this...

Any who here's a interview he did with Vancouver Sun about New Moon:

"It's going to be kind of weird," admits the Nanaimo actor who confesses he had to be dragged to see Twilight, the first in a series of movies based on Stephenie Meyer's popular romantic teenage vampire novels.

"All the guys were saying, 'It's a chick movie,' but it was really good," Bright recalls. "I'm glad to be a part of it."

No sooner had news reports surfaced about Bright joining the New Moon cast headlined by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Michael Sheen than he began getting text messages from his friends.

"Even if you're in it for five minutes, you're huge," says the Victoria-born actor who made his debut in a Telus commercial. "You're revered."

Well at least he was honest about not wanting to see twilight! Oh and there's more to the article (kissing Dakota on the cheek and not going to Tuscany!)

Did you know when you search 'Cameron Bright' on google images this picture is on the first page:

People.com pick there Alec's

People.com have just started a poll on who should be cast as Alec in new moon. The four options they have are Tom Felton, Lucas Grabeel, Gaspard Ulliel and Freddie Highmore.

According to Stephine Meyer Alec looks like this :"his hair was darker, and his lips were not as full, but he was just as lovely," And I dont think that really fits anyone is People's poll, but the person I picked was Freddie Highmore. Hes not exactly what I imagined Alec to look like but I think he is the closest on the poll. Tom Felton will always be Draco Malfoy to me but I think he could pull it off if he really tried. Lucas Grabeel is too disney and Gaspard Ulliel is just too old!

What do you think?

Whos Alec?!

Now that there has been almost definite speculation over who will play Jane in New Moon it leads to the next character in line, Alec! Entertainment weekly have just written an article about who could play Alec and decide who they think is the best actor to play Jane's twin.

Elijah Wood is a popular suggestion, since Jane and Alec are small in stature, but I doubt that the man who starred in the Lord of the Rings trilogy would want to be backburner in a Twilight sequel. Then again, if Weitz (or the director of any future Twilight sequels) wanted to go off-book and flesh out the fascinating Volturi and their guard with Meyer's approval, I don't think anyone would mind. (Right?) Also, what is Elijah Wood doing these days?

Assuming Wood is out, I submit High School Musical's Lucas Grabeel (pictured) for consideration. He might be a bit too tall to pair with Fanning, but they could always have him stand/walk in a shallow hole/trench.

You can read the full article here.
I think that Elijah Wood would be a good Alec but I dont think that Lucas Grabeel would be. I think its the whole Disney feel he has (the same problem with Vanessa) But I still think that Jeremy Sumpter would be a good choice. What do you think?

My character speculations for New Moon

Here are my character speculations for New Moon. We have our Edward, Bella, Cullen family, Victoria, Laurent, Charlie, Billy and Jacob (:D) but who will play the roles of the volturi?

Aro - There has been a lot of speculation that Ben Barnes (from prince Caspian) is lined up to play the role, which I'm fine with but I always thought of the volturi as much older looking... I think its more to do with them being called 'ancients'. But i also had another idea for Aro Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter) I think he would be great as Aro! Hes older but not to old( Aro was born 1000 BC but there is no confirmed 'turn' date). But what do you think?

Jane - There has been no real speculation for this part so I'm assuming Summit are going to pick a unknown actor for the role. But I think if they were to pick a know actor the best choice would be Dakota Fanning. Jane's age has never been confirmed but people believe that is around 12 but I feel that she must be a bit older becasue she cant be classed as a 'immortal child' so I thought 13 or 14 that way shes a teen, not child. And I think Dakota Fanning would be perfect to play this role becasue it seems as though she hasn't changed for years and she still looks quite young (despite being 14) which I think will make her a great Jane. But what do you think?

Alec - Again there has been no speculation for this part so it must be a unknown actor role. But I think if they were to cast a somewhat known actor in the role Jeremy Sumpter would be a good choice. He, just like Dakota Fanning, has seemed to sort of grow up slowly which is perfect for the role. Jeremy is actually 19 years old, but I think he could play the early teen Alec role perfectly! And hes has training with fantasy sort of roles with Peter Pan! But what do you think?

If you have your own opinions tell me please! I'm really interested to know what everyone else thinks.
