What Twilight deal to get!

I bet you all know about the many, many twilight movie specials going around and if most of you are like me you have no idea what one would be the best to get! Well one very smart person on live journal (petalouda8) put them all on one post for people to compare. You can check it out here

I have been reading though all the comments people have left to the post and the two top contenders seem to be the Borders edition and the Target one.

Now I think If I was to get one I would pick the.... Target one! Yes I like the Target one the best. Sure I really want the postcards but I want to buy the twilight DVD not the stuff that goes with it, plus the cover looks better with the Target deal.

AWESOME!!!

Twilight at the Oscars?!?!

How exciting is this? E! online posted an exclusive report on the Oscars, and while Twilight isn't up for any awards there will still be a 'presence' there...

Twilight may not be nominated for any Oscars, but that doesn't mean the movie won't be a part of Hollywood's biggest night on Feb. 22.

"I promise you, there will be a presence," Laurence Mark, a first-time producer of this year's Academy Awards, tells me. "You'll see. I promise there is and on more than one occasion."

If Twilight doesn’t give Mark and his co-producer Bill Condon a huge jump in the ratings, we can't imagine what would.

I wonder what this 'presence' will be!?

Hilarious Twilight 'Interviews'

This is a really old video (well it was from the twilight premier) and I wasnt going to originally watch or post it but I have noticed it on about 5 different twilight websites tonight so I thought I might as well watch it and WOW! I'm so glad I did. Its the funniest twilight 'interview' ever! The girl has a massive freak out when she meets Robert Pattinson and then when she meets Jackson... well lets just say things get a bit hot 'n' heavy.

I think Ashely was in awe when this girl says "stay the F&^k away" this is the moment:

priceless!

WHY?!?

It really seems that the people behind the twilight films want to make us all broke!

The latest money stealing idea is a Director's Notebook, which will be written by Catherine Hardwicke all about Twilight...

Exciting news for fans of Twilight the movie! Little, Brown will be publishing Twilight: Director's Notebook written by Catherine Hardwicke. It will be released on March 17th. This intimate look on making the movie will include inside secrets on everything from casting to wardrobe along with personal notes from Catherine and behind-the-scenes photographs.

"With this book, I tried to show fans and aspiring filmmakers some of the process that the crew and I went through filming Twilight," said Hardwicke. "My challenge was to translate Stephenie's powerful book and make you feel what she makes you feel when you read her words."

The movie version of Twilight has grossed over $340 million worldwide since its release on November 21, 2008. The movie debuted at #1 at the box office with $70 million, making it the highest debut for a female director. Twilight: Director's Notebook is being released just in time for the March 21st multi-million copy release of Twilight on DVD.

I will have to get myself a job before march so I will have enough money to get all the twilight things I 'need' to have!

More movie stills!

Yay! New movie stills from the meadow scene (Which was rather disappointing in my opinion) have turned up! Everglow, you rock!

TWILIGHT WON AN AWARD!

The funniest news I have ever read about Twilight has just opened up on my computer screen. Twilight Lexicon has just posted that twilight has won the Peta award for being the most friendly film to animals...

"To be honest, we’re kind of boggling at the irony of this one. PETA has given the Twilight movie an award as being most friendly to animals. Do the PETA people realize that "vegetarian vampire" isn’t literal and that the Cullens drink animal blood? In the first forty or so seconds of the movie a deer is clearly killed. Did they watch the same movie we did?"

Its certainly somthing to think about...

Im still laughing!

Twilight is top 10 in 08

How awesome is this? Entertainment Weekly has decided what they think the 10 Biggest Showbiz Events of 2008 were and guess what was on the list!? The Twilight Premiere of course! 2008 Was the year that the Twilight craze really exploded and so did Robert Pattinsons celebrity status, so I would think that it would make 2008 a pretty dam good year!

Newly minted movie star Robert Pattinson signed autographs for the teeming crowd of teen vampire fans who showed up to see Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book hit the big screen. The film had earned $175 million by mid-December.

$300 Million!

WOW! Twilight has done it! They have cracked the $300 million mark!

After its $69.6 million start, Meyer's masterpiece brought in another $111.8 million domestically, giving it a grand total of $181.4 million to date in North America. It has proven to be a draw internationally as well. Twilight's $116 million overseas to date gives the production a grand total of right at $300 million worldwide. This makes it the 14th most successful project of 2008, and it still has some upward mobility left in it. Wanted's $338.8 million is still within the realm of possibility, but The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor's $389.0 million is probably a bit ambitious at this point. I don't think anyone at Summit Entertainment is going to lose any sleep over that, though.

The number that really sells the success of Twilight is its production budget. At a cost of $37 million, Twilight had already earned back the body of its shooting expense after exactly one day in theaters. It had recouped all of its negative cost expenses within a week, the hallmark of the very best feature film investments. Twilight's $300 million in revenue after a capital risk of only $37 million is among the best of the 2000s.
WOW! I told you that it was impressive! In one day they had earned back the cost of making the film!
